Live Service for Windows Vista Announced by Microsoft

A few months ago, we had posted about the Xbox Live-type service for the Vista. Yesterday at the 2007 CES, Microsoft officially announced that the Live service for Vista will launch any time this summer.

Microsoft head honcho Bill Gates said, “Windows Vista marks the biggest investment from Microsoft around Windows games since Windows 95, making games easier, safer and more fun to play on the PC. For consumers, we believe gaming is one of the top reasons to upgrade to Windows Vista.”

Xbox Live Arcade hit UNO will be heading to the Vista too. Nevertheless, we are disappointed that Gears Of War is not on this list. It would have been wonderful to see it on Vista, as the OS has been touted to have superior graphics. But now, we will have to satisfy our appetite with Halo 2 and Crysis.
