Age of Empires Online Coming this Fall

As the Age of Empires Online beta closed earlier last week, it left gamers with a sense of what the full game could treat them with. The history-based RTS title which was unveiled last year further unfolds the Age of Empires saga with its adventurous voyages through the Greek and Egyptian civilizations.

Now, a feed on the game’s official Twitter page has announced that the title will be unleashed this fall. Reportedly, Eurogamer has received confirmation from Microsoft’s end about the release. It has also been stated that following the launch of the title, the company will bring out civilizations, boosters and empire extras content.

The Civilizations pack is supposedly crafted to offer ‘a free component and a premium upgrade.’ Further, a booster pack could unfurl new co-op competitive modes while Empire extras have been referred to as ‘vanity items.’ These DLC bundles are expected to be priced in the range of 5 USD (approx. Rs. 224) to 20 USD (approx. Rs. 896) each.

Although no official release date has surfaced as of now, Age of Empires Online is expected to come ashore on May 31, 2011.
