Steam launched for Mac recently and every week Valve releases more titles for the platform. This week Valve announces that the third round of Steam for Mac launch titles is now available on Steam. Last week Steam for Mac got the games Killing Floor and Altitude.
Eve Online: Tyrannis is available and represents Steam’s first day-and-date release for Mac and PC. On the other hand, Half-Life 2 titles available on Steam have been equipped with cross platform support for Steam Cloud. This means that players can save their progress on one computer and seamlessly pick up where they left off on any other computer, PC or Mac.
Half-Life 2 and Episode One have both been updated to feature more than 40 new Steam Achievements available to all those who own these titles. In addition, the HL2 games support Steam Play, which means that customers have to purchase the HL2 games once and will then be able to play them on all Steam supported platforms.
The Half-Life 2 games are available for 30 percent off of their regular price for a limited time. Half-Life 2 is available for 6.99 USD (approx. Rs. 327) while The Orange Box is available for 20.99 USD (approx. Rs. 985).
