With the introduction of this service, the company intends to offer a new online platform for gamers with varied programs. Atari GO has also introduced the Affiliate Program which will facilitate popular independent websites to integrate online editions of games developed by the company.

“The programs, tools and support structures behind Atari GO allows developers to focus on making great games that can then be delivered globally,” explained Thom Kozik, Executive VP, Online & Mobile at Atari. “Developers can already sign up for our programs and collaborate with us as we envision the future of cross-platform gaming.”

Jeff Lapin, CEO, Atari, announced, “Thom brings a wealth of experience and insight to his role here at Atari as he joins our management team during this high growth period in online gaming. We look forward to bringing modernised versions of our well-known games, such as Asteroids, and new original games to global online marketplace.”

This solution has been designed to extend distribution, marketing and platform support for developers. The Distribution Program will allow gamers to recognize and collaborate with social networking sites, portals as well as other game aggregators. In addition, developers can seek assistance from the Marketing and Platforms support which will unravel intricacies involved in the process of publishing online games. This offering comes handy for registration, inventory management, monetization tuning and advertising support.
