Nintendo is offering cult classics to the American Wii gamers, one is a farm management game, the other is a shooting title! This week, Harvest Moon and Lords of Thunder will be made available on the American Virtual Console.
Here are the details of the games for the Nintendo VC:
First we have Harvest Moon, a game that debuted for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, where gamers have to build a successful farm. The game even features a house that needs to be remodeled to woo a female farming companion. The main aim is to dig in and build the life as a farmer from the ground up.
Next we have Lords of Thunder, which was first released on the TurboGrafx-16. The side-scrolling shooter sees gamers take the role of a legendary warrior, blasting enemies to heavy-metal tunes. Landis has to stop the enemies, who are plotting to breathe life into Zaggart, “The Dark One,” who was shut underneath the six continents of Mistral. The game has six stages and gamers can select magic armors and use crystals that they have collected in previous battles.
Harvest Moon as well as Lords of Thunder will cost 800 Wii Points. These games are already up on the Wii Shop Channel. It would be amazing to play a shooting game like Lords of Thunder.
