THQ has announced that it will bring Tetris to the Xbox 360 via the Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA). The game will be called as Tetris Evolution and will have four-player Xbox Live online multiplayer.
Kelly Flock, VP, THQ explains, “The Tetris series has been entertaining people of all ages for 20 years and has delivered unparalleled appeal and longevity in gaming. With its predecessor, THQ’s Tetris Worlds, having sold more than two million copies to date, we can’t wait to unveil Tetris Evolution on the Xbox 360 to show how the game has further evolved.”
Tetris Evolution will feature a variety of game modes like Go Low and Eraser as well as the leaderboards and Achievements. Tetris was created by Russian Alexey Pajitnov and is one of the video games that is favorite with all kinds of gamers.
