Mighty Bomb Jack (1 player, 500 Wii Points): Mighty Bomb Jack was first released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1987 by Tecmo. The action/adventure game sees the hero Jack make his way through 16 levels of a pyramid in order to overpower the demon Belzebut and free the royal Pamera family. The game is a little unique as each level is split into two parts; an action zone and a Royal Palace room and each of the levels are also split up into numerous segments, and enclose power-ups generally hidden in treasure chests such as moneybags, Mighty Coins, and Mighty Drinks. These power-ups enable Jack to open any treasure chest by simply touching it from the side while also turning his enemies into coins for five seconds.

Final Fight (1 player, 800 Wii Points): Final Fight was also released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1990. The game is based around Jessica, who is the daughter of former wrestling star and mayor of Metro City Mike Haggar and girlfriend to Cody Travers. She is mysteriously kidnapped and now gamers have to take the role of either Haggar or Cody Travers to fight and save her. The gamers will find out in the end, just who is behind the Mad Gear Gang in the beat ‘em up action game

Ordyne (2 players, 600 Wii Points): Ordyne was originally released on the TurboGrafx16 in 1988. The game is a port of the well-liked side-scrolling arcade shooter, which comprises concurrent two-player co-op play as well as inspiring visuals and appealing background music. Dr. Tomari’s fiancée, Kana has been abducted by the evil Kubota who takes her to the gigantic nuclear reactor Ordyne. Now it is up to Dr. Tomari and his assistant Felix to reach Kubota in the final stage and save his fiancée.

Mighty Bomb Jack and Final Fight were already released for the European Virtual Console last week. It would be nice to play the Ordyne on the Wii, but it would have been great if they had released Final Fight as a two-player game. Anyway, these three classic games go live at 9 a.m. Pacific time.
