Since its release in Japan and Europe, Xenoblade Chronicles has been receiving rave reviews for its brilliant RPG offerings. And now the game is all geared up to enter North America on April 6 for the Wii. Another RPG, The Last Story, has also been revealed by Nintendo to be made available later this year. The game is currently available for purchase only in Japan.

While the former offering will be published by Nintendo itself, the latter will be delivered by XSEED Games. Other titles too are ready to launch in North America for the Wii. These include PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond and Mario Party 9, which are dated for February 27 and March 11, respectively. It was only recently that Rhythm Heaven Fever was also outed for the console.

“Together, these two games level up the excitement for RPG fans in America. Whether roaming the vast landscape of Xenoblade Chronicles or choosing crossbows to battle with or against companions in The Last Story, gamers will recognize these titles as benchmarks for the genre,” shared Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime.

For the 3DS, there’s Mario Tennis Open which is slated for a May 20 release. This title features various characters from the Mushroom Kingdom and also offers options for online multiplayer. Moreover, Kid Icarus: Uprising will also be outed for the 3DS on March 23 and a horror title named Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir will follow on April 13.
Gamers eagerly anticipating Xenoblade Chronicles will be able to acquire this title on April 6, 2012. The Last Story is yet to receive a confirmed release date.
