Conduit 2 release date pushed back further, to unleash in April

A limited edition of Sega’s Conduit 2 for Wii exclusively via GameStop was revealed earlier last year along with a suggestive launch date of February 2011 for the game. Now according to recent news, the upcoming first person shooter is postponed even further and scheduled to be made available on April 19, 2011.

As the developer High Voltage Software finalizes the release date for Conduit 2, this delay will enable the team to maintain a balance in gameplay elements while enhancing it’s multiplayer. This exclusively for Wii title features three primary gameplay modes, namely Free-For-All, Team Objective and Team Deathmatch. These consist of the classic game types as well as special variations with an innovative Conduit-theme.

Reportedly, Conduit 2 comprises of fourteen unique ways to enjoy the game including modes such as ASE Ball, Bounty Hunter, Shared Stock, Killing Override, Single Flag CTF, Balloon Battle and Annexation among others, in addition to the previously mentioned modes. Moreover the game also lets players customize with up to four different loadouts that can be created for each profile.

Available choices include options for Primary Weapon, Secondary Weapon, and Grenade Type as well as up to four Suit Upgrades. Gamers will also be able to customize a maximum four different avatars, one for each profile with more than 20 modular parts, 16 primary and secondary color choices per character section and 7 character models.

Following a series of delays, Conduit 2 is now scheduled to release on April 19, 2011, exclusively for Wii.
