Although the Virtual Console service was given a miss last week, we see Aero The Acrobat making it to the downloadable scene this week.

Published by Teyon, Heavy Fire: Special Operations lets gamers join the elite army unit and indulge in challenging missions that take place in the Middle East. The arcade shooter enables them to rise up through the military ranks while acquiring different weapons that come with their own special features and controls. Players can even replay their game to better their previous scores and submit it to the world rankings. More points can be gathered by combos and smashing the environment. Foes can be dealt with in either multiplayer or single-player modes.

Aero The Acrobat for VC was originally formulated for Super NES and published by Sunsoft. The events in the game see industrialist Edgar Ektor along with his freaks taking control of the World of Amusement and threatening the circus. Their hope lies with Aero the acrobat as he swings, dives and bungee jumps into the scene to get rid of his foes.

Dive: The Medes Island Secret and Heavy Fire: Special Operations are priced at 1,000 and 500 Wii Points while Aero The Acrobat can be acquired for 800 Wii Points.
