Back in March, IO Interactive confirmed that Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days would hit the gaming scene by August this year. The upcoming title also made its way into our 10 highly anticipated PC games in 2010 list. Players even got a taste of what to expect with the demo version which released through the PSN recently. Now Valve and Square Enix Limited have revealed that the PC version of Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will ship with Steamworks support.
Thanks to this agreement, publishers and developers will be endowed with loads of Steamworks features. The game will also reach over 20 million Steam gamers situated all across the globe. Owners of the PC version will be able to take complete advantage of features such as Matchmaking, Stats, auto-updating, Steam Achievements and Leaderboards.
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days provides gamers with 48 hours of exciting gameplay as they follow the escapades of the two notorious criminals. The action shooter title is packed with innovative multiplayer features, action gameplay and excellent art direction. Players can already pre-order their copy of Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days through Steam complete with a 10% discount.
Players situated in North America can acquire Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days on August 17 while gamers situated in Europe and other PAL territories can enjoy the sequel on August 20, 2010. The title will hit Japan at a later date on August 26, 2010. The official pricing details are however still unclear.
