In June last year we reported that CTA Digital had on offer a Wii Football Accessory. Now Chip Chik is reporting that CTA Digital has listed a “soft, realistic” Wii football peripheral online, which is supposed to bring added realism to several Wii football titles.
The soft football peripheral for the Wii utilizes the Wii remote and is apparently even compatible with the Wii MotionPlus. All you have to do is slip the Wii remote into the plastic handle. The football is made of soft foam and has both sides “scooped out” to suit both right as well as left-handed players. There is even a wrist strap to keep the football accessory from accidentally slipping out of your hand.
The Wii Soft Football is the first of its kind to be made like a squishy, backyard tossing, foam football and is compatible with Madden NFL 09 All-Play, Madden NFL 10, Backyard Football ’09, Backyard Football, Family Fun Football, Blitz: The League, NCAA Football 09 All-Play, and any other Wii football games which make use of the Wii remote.
