Nintendo Reveals New Upcoming Games for Wii and DS

With the summer sun shining upon us brightly, the indoors seems very inviting indeed. To further entice gamers on this front, Nintendo has shed light on its plethora of games scheduled to release for the Wii and DS consoles over the next few months. The company has also divulged the launch dates of much-awaited Pokémon and Donkey Kong titles.

For the Wii system, PokéPark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure and Donkey Kong Country Returns will unveil on November 1 and 21, 2010 respectively. More recently Metroid: Other M is scheduled to arrive on the last day of this month. Players can expect Samurai Warriors 3 to slash its way in on September 27 while Wii Party and Kirby’s Epic Yarn is slated for a October 3 and 17, 2010 release respectively.

Among the third-party games line-up, New Carnival Games from 2K Play will unleash on September 21 while NBA Jam from EA Sports and Just Dance 2 from Ubisoft will make their appearance in October on 5 and 12, 2010 respectively. Sonic Colors has been given a November 16 date while GoldenEye 007 from Activision Publishing and Disney Epic Mickey from Disney Interactive Studios are scheduled to individually unveil in November and the holiday season.

“Everyone wants fun, engaging experiences, and they want great value,” commented Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Nintendo games give you both. And no matter what your taste, you’ll find exclusive experiences that just aren’t available anywhere else.”

Coming to the Nintendo DS array, more Donkey Kong action can be experienced on November 14 with the release of Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem! The furry yet powerful creatures are back on the DS as Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs is expected to unveil on October 4, 2010. Other titles include Professor Layton and the Unwound Future on September 12 and Art Academy on October 25, 2010.

Players can also get ready to lay their hands on some third-party games for the portable console such as Final Fantasy The 4 Heroes Of Light from Square Enix on October 5 and Rock Band 3 from Electronic Arts/MTV on October 29, 2010. Warner Bros. will bring Super Scribblenauts onto the gaming terrain in a couple of months.

The WiiWare service will also acquire And Yet It Moves from Broken Rules on August 23 as well as Super Meat Boy from Team Meat and Bit.Trip Fate by Gaijin Games this autumn and holidays respectively. On September 20, the Nintendo DSiWare line-up will feature Need For Speed Nitro-X from Electronic Arts. This terrain will also get Shantae: Risky’s Revenge from WayForward this holiday season
