DanceDanceRevolution for Wii to Release this Fall

Back in October last year, DanceDanceRevolution X2 and DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 3 unveiled onto the PS2 and Wii respectively. Now Konami is back as it takes the covers off DanceDanceRevolution for the Nintendo Wii. The latest title is set to incorporate a new Choreography Mode as well as better multiplayer features and a plethora of foot-tapping music.

The newly introduced Choreography Mode enables players to groove along with the model dancer dancing onscreen. They are able to get all their moves well-synchronized by using the mat controller as well as other Wii accessories such as the Nunchuk and Wii Remote.

Shinji Hirano, President of Konami Digital Entertainment explained, “DanceDanceRevolution is back and better than ever, combining entertaining and physically engaging gameplay with all of Nintendo Wii’s interactive capabilities. The newest addition to the DanceDanceRevolution family will offer fans the complete DanceDanceRevolution package full of movement, fitness and fun.”

Gamers will also be able to employ the Wii Balance Board which will entice both beginners as well as expert dancers. DanceDanceRevolution includes a new multiplayer mode allowing up to four players to enjoy the game together. Many organizations have looked upon DanceDanceRevolution for its get-up-and-move fitness impact.

DanceDanceRevolution for the Wii is scheduled to groove its way into stores by autumn this year. The exact pricing and availability details are still a bit hazy at this point.
