DanceDanceRevolution swings onto the Wii and PS2

We had earlier reported about the release date and song list for two DanceDanceRevolution titles. These games namely DanceDanceRevolution X2 and DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 3 for the PS2 and Wii respectively are now out in stores across the US.

The latest offerings from Konami are packed with great -to-pick-up-and-play mechanics along with loads of engaging features. All these can be espied with new game modes, customizations and better graphics. A first for the title, Wii owners can utilize the Wii Balance Board to display their dancing skills.

The games boast of a bountiful lineup of songs which includes Coldlay – Viva La Vida, Rihanna – Disturbia, Vanilla Ice – Ice Ice Baby and Rick Astley – Never Gonna Give You Up. Players can also groove to the tunes of over 20 foot-tapping tracks of original music unleashed by Bemani’s development team.

DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 3 for the Wii lets gamers execute all their moves on the Balance Board and Nunchuk in the Balance Board mode. Players can also make use of the DanceDanceRevolution controller mat if they wish. DanceDanceRevolution X2 for the PS2 features a Dice Master Mode where gamers must throw the dice to fathom upon a dance challenge.

DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 3 can be acquired for a price of $69.99 (approx. Rs.3,286) while DanceDance Revolution X2 has a price tag of $39.99 (approx. Rs.1,877). The Konami titles are rated E10+ by ESRB and come complete with a DanceDanceRevolution controller mat.
