Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the upcoming sequel to EA DICE’s 2008 Battlefield: Bad Company video game, and earlier we reported that the game would be coming in March next year. Now DICE, an Electronic Arts studio has sent word of a Limited Edition of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. This limited edition of the game will have six special gameplay unlocks which will give players a tactical advantage when on the battlefield.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Limited Edition will feature six special customizations early in the game to give players a day-one advantage when it comes to multiplayer match-ups. The online vehicle warfare experience will be enhanced with four vehicle warfare unlocks, and additionally there will be two classic Battlefield 1943 weapons.
The four vehicle warfare unlocks include an Improved Vehicle Armor package for all vehicles, a Supreme Vehicle Firepower package, a Vehicle Motion Sensor electronics warfare package, and a Tracer Dart Pistol. The two classic battlefield weapons include the M1A1 Submachine Gun, which is both heavy as well as powerful, and the highly customized M1911 Pistol.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be available in North America on March 2, 2010 and across Europe on March 5, 2010 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC. Prices for the game or the limited edition have not been announced.
