Rage of the Gladiator and more unveils this week for Wii

Its once again that time of the week where we disclose the complete line up of the Nintendo downloads this week. The company offers Rage of the Gladiator and Triple Shot Sports for the WiiWare while the Virtual Console segment gets Castlevania Rondo of Blood.

Rage of Gladiator

Rage of the Gladiator is published by Ghostfire Games and is noted to be a fantasy-based fighting game. This single player title is packed with stunning 3-D graphics, special effects, shadows, lighting and animation. Each boss in the game has their own personality and taunts to make it more interesting. Players can customize their character while endowing them with different skills such as defense, magic or offense. Also expected in the game are astonishing finishing moves and apt music by legendary composer Sean Beeson for that right feel. There are also the unlockable Challenge Mode and tougher bosses with new powers. What’s more is that Rage of the Gladiator also has the ability to support the Wii MotionPlus accessory.

Up next is The Code Monkeys Ltd. published title namely Triple Shot Sports. The offering is an enhanced recreational shooting game introducing players to competitive target shooting like Pistol Shooting, Archery and Free Rifle. Players are provided with the weapon’s full aiming control while shooting. While doing so they must also consider the breathing pattern and weather conditions which could affect their shot.

For the Virtual Console segment this week, Nintendo unleashes the blood-sucking offering entitled Castlevania Rondo of Blood. The single player game is the tenth iteration in the acclaimed Castlevania series which features the ultimate struggle between the Count and the Belmont clan. The title is much sort after as it incorporates loads of features that make this installment a classic. These include good game balance, CD-quality music and beautifully rendered world. Gamers take on the role of the clan’s ultimate Vampire Killer called Richter. The nine stages include loads of hidden secrets and treacherous traps strewn across them. They can defeat the dark Dracula with the aid of their legendary whip as well as various Item Crash attacks. When Maria is rescued during the game, players get the opportunity to opt for her as a playable character.

Rage of the Gladiator, Triple Shot Sports and Castlevania Rondo of Blood are priced at 1,000, 500 and 900 Wii Points respectively.
