Tournament of Legends for Wii Now Available

The month of June saw Sega announcing an exciting line-up of game titles at E3 this year. Among them were Shogun 2: Total War, Tournament of Legends and Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode I. Sega now graces stores with Tournament of Legends for Wii.

The latest 3D-fighter title is a Wii exclusive game which comprises of magic and weapons based elements. Players can expect epic battles to take place in fantastic fighting arenas. To aid them during the fight, there are 40 magic attacks and mythical blade weapons.

Eric Nofsinger, Chief Creative Officer at High Voltage Software stated, “We have 10 devastating weapon sets that can be used across multiple characters and 30 incredible enchantments that enhance the combat with a magical flare. Additionally, the game features lots of unlockable content including new characters, weapons, and enchantments that are all unlocked through gameplay. When you couple this with our highly customizable controls and the ability to use the Nintendo Classic controller; we are offering many new features that no other fighting game offers in the Wii market.”

He further added, “We set out to offer Wii-gamers a fighting game that was built from the ground up for them; allowing you to choose your character, weapon set, enhancement, and do battle the way you want to.”

They would also have to steer clear of giant mythological beings that are guarding the battle lairs. There are one and two-player fights to take advantage of in Tournament of Legends. Wii owners can dish out various forms of attack such as the man-eating lion, Thor’s Fury, nest of venomous snakes and Jupiter’s Storm.

Developed by High Voltage Software, Tournament of Legends for Wii is priced at 29.95 USD (approx. Rs. 1,403).
