Dracula has once again resurrected from his eternal slumber and its up to the players to drive that wooden stake right into his heart. Gamers can do just that in Konami Digital Entertainment’s game entitled Castlevania Rebirth.
This title is noted to be a regenerated version of the Castlevania: Adventure which unveiled way back in 1989 for the Game Boy. Castlevania Rebirth brings back this 2D side-scrolling Transylvanian adventure to the likes of the Nintendo Wii gaming system.
In Castlevania ReBirth, players take on the role of Christopher Belmont, a vampire slayer from the Belmont Clan. He is bestowed with the task of once again restoring balance to the world. He must achieve this by eliminating the dreaded Dracula and his minions.
He is aided in his quest by the legendary whip and other upgradable weapons and holy water he must find along the way. These tools will help him fend off against vicious vampires and get to Dracula’s layer to vanquish him for good.
Castlevania ReBirth is created by Koji Igarashi and is rated E10+ by the ESRB. Players can acquire this game for 1000 Wii Points on the Nintendo WiiWare.
