My Life as a Darklord made its foray on WiiWare last week. This week, Nintendo has released 3 games for its WiiWare service and has also released a game for the DSiWare service. Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 1, HB Arcade Cards and The Three Musketeers: One for All! are available for WiiWare, while Sudoku Student is available for DSiWare.
HB Arcade Cards is a collection of classic card games such as Solitaire, Hearts, Rummy, Canasta, Euchre and Cribbage. The single player game comes with an interactive tutorial and allows gamers to play using a Mii character from their Wii system. A player can even team up with the computer to play Cribbage and Euchre. HB Arcade Cards is developed by HB Studios Multimedia and can be purchased for 500 Wii Points.
The second game that has arrived on WiiWare is The Three Musketeers: One for All! Count Xavier and the diabolical Count Orsini have locked up the three musketeers and it is now the duty of Porthos to rescue his captured comrades. The game has been inspired by the classic novel and allows gamers to carry out sword attacks, evade traps and discover collectables using the Wii Remote. The action game is packed with puzzles and fencing challenges which make the game an experience to remember. The Three Musketeers: One for All! is developed by Legendo Entertainment and the single player game is available for 900 Wii Points.
Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 1 is the first installment in a five part Tales of Monkey Island series and is published by Telltale Games. The hero, Guybrush Threepwood gets marooned on a bizarre island after a face-off with the demon pirate LeChuck. Guybrush now has to find a way out of the strange place as he searches for his wife, Elaine and investigate the cause of a voodoo pox spreading through the island. Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 1 for WiiWare is a humorous one player game and can be bought by redeeming 1,000 Wii Points.
Sudoku Student for Nintendo DSiWare is a single player sudoku game which comes with a comprehensive tutorial for gamers who are new to sudoku puzzles. The game has been designed to cater to beginner-level sudoku players and features many challenges to keep them hooked for a long time. Sudoku Student is published by Hudson Entertainment and is priced at 200 Nintendo DSi Points.
New games are added to the Nintendo DSi Shop and Wii Shop Channel every Monday at 9 am Pacific Time. Wii Points can be purchased from the Wii Shop Channel Nintendo while DSi Points are available in the Nintendo DSi Shop. Gamers with broadband Internet access can download the games by redeeming Wii Points or Nintendo DSi Points.
