EA has announced that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis will be the first EA Sports products to arrive on the Wii. EA Sports has a handful of products currently in development, being designed specially for the Wii and are set to release them before 2010.
“On the Wii, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis bring the authentic motion and excitement of championship golf and tennis to life for fans of all ages and skill levels,” commented Peter Moore, President of EA Sports. “With the new Wii MotionPlus, slicing a winner on Centre Court at Wimbledon or dropping an 8 iron pin high on No. 17 at TPC Sawgrass have never felt better. We couldn’t be more excited about the dynamic new EA Sports experiences coming this year to the Wii.”
The Wii MotionPlus offers one-is-to-one motion and is intended on providing a better Wii gaming experience. With it, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 really comes to life. Golfing fans can have a swing at it with very accurate controls. There will also be a leaderboard where the best virtual golfers can show off their skills.
EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis which is to be released first for the Wii, puts players on the courts letting them take on the world’s greats. Create and take a player to the four Grand Slams in career mode. The game lets players volley, smash and compete on Wimbledon’s renowned Centre Court.
