Gone are the days when at the beginning of the week Nintendo used to announce games just for the Virtual Console. Now there are games for the WiiWare service also! This week around, gamers can expect Mega Man and Neo Turf Masters on the American VC. Midnight Pool comes to the WiiWare.
Details of the games on the American VC and WiiWare this week:
First up, we have the Mega Man for the VC from the Nintendo Entertainment System. Mega Man is on a mission to stop the evil Dr. Wily who goes rogue with an army of six robots. The game involves enemies, traps and perilous platform challenges and gamers can expect claim weapons of the robot masters at the conclusion of each stage.
The next game for the VC is Neo Turf Masters that appeared on NeoGeo in the mid-nineties. The golf game features six golfers as well as various golf courses around the world such as Japan (Fujiyama Oriental Golf Club), America (Grand Canyon Golf Course), Australia (Blue Lagoon Golf Course) and Germany (Baden Golf Course).There are two modes of gameplay, Stroke Play and Match Play.
Coming to the WiiWare game, there is Midnight Pool, a game by Gameloft. Gamers can expect the most colorful bars as well as seven of the coolest players on the circuit such as country music star Travis to Alison the biologist and John the sheriff. They can take on challenges to show off their trick-shot capabilities.
The three games are up on the Wii Shop Channel. Mega Man comes with a price tag of 500 Wii Points while the NeoGeo game, Neo Turf Masters, is a little expensive. It costs 900 Wii Points. As for Midnight Pool, the game is prices at 800 Wii Points.
