Super Smash Bros Brawl Issues Addressed by Nintendo

Mario Super Smash Bros Brawl Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Nintendo Wii had been one of the eagerly awaited games of 2008. It definitely lived up to the expectations. Now Kotaku is reporting that some gamers are having some issues with the lens of the console. However it seems that Nintendo has come up with a website to deal with the hitch in North America.

This is what Nintendo had to say about the Super Smash Bros Brawl disc problem:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl utilizes a double-layer disc which has a large memory capacity. A very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is some contamination on the lens of the disc drive. Nintendo has specialized cleaning equipment that can resolve this problem. (Please do NOT attempt to clean the lens yourself, as you may damage the system.)

Nintendo has mentioned that gamers should not return Super Smash Bros Brawl to the retail store as it will not solve the issue. They have put up a form on the website. Click here to head there. Problem or no problem, gamers are lining up to get Super Smash Bros Brawl. The game has done very well in Japan where it had already crossed the ‘million copies sold’ mark!
