Final Solider, Cho Aniki Available on American VC

Last week, Nintendo released Super Mario RPG on the America Virtual Console along with one other game. This week around, Nintendo is releasing two games on the Wii VC, one is Final Solider, while the other is Cho Aniki. As for the WiiWare, it gets the Groovin’ Blocks game.

First up, we have Final Solider on the VC, which was first released on the TurboGrafx16. The vertically scrolling shooter is set in the twenty-third century. Gamers have to control a fighter created by the world’s scientists. It has the Normal Game, 2 Minute Game and 5 Minute Game score-attack modes.

Then we have Cho Aniki on the VC. The game released for the TurboGrafx16 in the nineties. The odd world shooter sees gamers play as either Idaten or Benten, who are celestial warriors. Gamers must take on the emperor of Planet Builder ‘s army across five stages.

Coming to the WiiWare, there is the Groovin’ Blocks music-based game by Empty Clip Studios. It has 27 stages and gamers have to collect stars to unlock 15 levels of power-ups. There are three skill levels including Casual and Hard mode. Gamers can also play in the co-op mode or go head-to-head with someone.

These three games are up on the Wii Shop Channel. Final Solider comes with a price tag of 700 Wii Points while Cho Aniki costs 900 Wii Points. As for Groovin’ Blocks, the game for the WiiWare has been priced at 800 Wii Points.
