Super Mario RPG Released on Wii VC

Super Mario RPG Many blockbuster games of the yesteryear have been released on the Virtual Console. Games based on Mario have been a favorite with the Wii gamers. Nintendo this week has put Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and Clu Clu Land on the American VC. The WiiWare service gets a game called as My Aquarium.

Details of games for the American VC and WiiWare:

First up, we have Clu Clu Land, a game that debuted on the Nintendo Entertainment System in the mid-eighties. The puzzle game takes gamers to the sea as they have to uncover gold bars in a maze. The game has twenty stages and features increasingly complex conditions.

The next game is the Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, which was first released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1996. The game sees Mario and Bowser take on a mystifying new enemy named Smithy. The role-playing game has locations like a town of mining moles, a tropical forest and a thundering waterfall. The game also includes new characters.

As for the WiiWare game, there is the My Aquarium game from Hudson Entertainment that has more than forty popular types of fish, both freshwater and saltwater. Gamers can expect fishes like Ocellaris clownfish, the freshwater angelfish and the Asian arowana. My Aquarium has some six different aquariums, which can be made and customized and even sent Wii Friends. The game lets gamers use the Wiimote to do things like tapping the glass.

The three games are up on the Wii Shop Channel as Nintendo is celebrates the release of its 250th game for the VC. Clu Clu Land comes with a price tag of 500 Wii Points while Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars costs 800 Wii Points. The WiiWare game, My Aquarium, is priced at 500 Wii Points.
