Wii Motion Plus Will Be Cheap, says Satoru Iwata

Gamers who own a Nintendo Wii have been excited from the time it was announced at E3 that something known as a Wii MotionPlus would be introduced soon. But one thing that they are still wondering is what will be the price range? Now Satoru Iwata from Nintendo has said that Wii Motion Plus will be priced affordably.

In an interview with WSJ, Satoru Iwata, the president of Nintendo was asked whether Wii owners will be forced to Wii Motion Plus to play newer games for the controllers they have. Iwata replied, “We haven’t announced the price yet, but the cost of making the Wii Motion Plus is not that much, so I think we can make it very affordable.”

The Nintendo head had earlier explained that there will not only be games that are enhanced by the Wii Motion Plus but also titles that are only played with it. He explained that though gamers will need four if they have four controllers, they will attempt to offer it for as little as possible. Satoru Iwata also pointed out that they are planning to make their products appealing in the developing countries.
