Wii Can Play iTunes Using Opera Browser

Nintendo’s consoles are turning out be fun for those who love music. Some time ago, we had posted how a Nintendo DS can be used as a MIDI controller. Now, a new software has come out which lets you play iTunes on the Nintendo Wii.

Wii Plays iTunes

The dot.Tunes application lets you play all your songs on the Wii, and all it needs is the Opera Browser that is installed on the console. What’s more, you don’t even have to worry about the DRM. It streams all your songs from the iTunes to your Wii. However, there is a catch to it. The dot.Tunes application can only be downloaded as a 15-day trial. If you want to buy the full version, you will have to shell out $30 (approx. Rs.1300) or $15 (approx. Rs. 350), if you plan to purchase it during the 15-day trial period.
