Gears of War has been officially launched in India. That is not the big news. In a press conference in Mumbai, we spotted Marcus Fenix. Yes the hero who saves the Earth from the Locust Horde in the game Gears of War. Even his attire was made in an Indian-style Shaktimaan way.
You can check the pictures we got from the official launch, which took place in the presence of Microsoft Country Head Mohit Anand and Brand Ambassador Akshay Kumar. They may have made the outfit to look a little Indian, but it surely ended up making fun of the original Gears Of War. I do not know what was going on in the minds of the costume designers to make an attire like that. Or, maybe they stole it from a little kid who was on the way to his school’s fancy dress competition. I hope the gamers are not put off by the cheap adaptation thinking it to be some b-grade game.
