Nintendo has revealed that New Super Mario Bros. 2 has been created specifically for a pick-up-and-play experience on the 3DS. From what we can gather from the screenshots which have been released by the company, it seems certain that the tanooki costume will be making a return after having been seen in last year’s Super Mario 3D Land. Moreover, it has also come to light that Nintendo will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Kirby character by releasing a special software disc for the Wii later this year.

And then there’s also Mario Tennis Open which is gearing up to release for the handheld on May 20.
