A fast paced and action packed side scrolling adventure is what developer Saturnine Games is hailing its newly released title Antipole to be. This game was outed in Europe yesterday as a Nintendo DSiWare and can be downloaded now by DSi as well as 3DS owners.
Players will be endowed with the ability to modify the world around them by reversing the effect of gravity. Donning the role of Johnny Hurricane, they will be required to wield these powers to jump over huge distances, run on ceilings, solve puzzles and to defeat his enemies.
Moreover, this game is also said to kick in a wide array of additional challenges that include multiple difficulty levels and unlockable Challenge Levels for adept gamers. Speed run challenges and Awards for completing the in-game challenges also form a part of this newly launched title.
Gamers who possess Saturnine Games’ earlier release named Cosmos X2 are up for an added incentive. The developer has announced that a bonus mode will be made for those who have the title on their systems. This mode would enable them to play the new game by using weapons that were featured in earlier title.
Released as a DSiWare in Europe in September this year, Cosmos X2 allows players to assume control of a spaceship as they travel through the solar system to dissuade an alien invasion. A special dual alignment weapon system enables this spacecraft to switch between two different weapons at any time during battle.
Antipole is now available for download via the European DSi Shop as well as the eShop at 500 Points and 5 Euros (approx. Rs. 340) respectively.
