Referred to as a naval strategy game, this offering allows players to plunge into the depth of seas for exploring the vivid world underneath the water surface. Blending together the innovative glasses-free 3D graphics and gyro sensor of the handheld system, the title delivers an immersive experience.

In the game, players can choose to accomplish varied exploits through the Mission and Periscope Strike modes. The former requires them to safely navigate their submarine through a variety of hurdles and dodge attacks launched by opponents. Allowing enthusiasts to identify and sink trespassing enemy ships, the Periscope Strike mode extends a unique 3D viewing as horizons of in-game visuals change with their movements.

The authentic vigor of the title has been enhanced by the device’s touch screen controls. It facilitates gamers to plan their strategies in the Steel Commander mode. By inviting friends and family members via Download Play, players can also indulge in a two-player experience in this mode.

Steel Diver has been scheduled to embark into the European continent for the Nintendo 3DS on May 6, 2011.
