Publisher Majesco Entertainment has announced the release of a new title named Nano Assault, which is now available for purchase on the Nintendo 3DS. This 3D shoot ‘em up game comes to pass in a cellular world, and requires players to prevent the spread of a lethal Nanostray virus which has the potential to infect the entire human civilization.
A total of thirty two twisted cell stages can be completed by gamers in this title. Moreover, dark worlds and rugged landscapes are also said to be a part of this game. These environments will regulate their own difficulty levels, depending upon the players’ skills. Black Nucleus, Hyper Blobs and Spore Plants are names of some of the enemies that make their way into the title. They can be killed by wielding weapons like energetic bombs, powerful beams and other unlockable assault arsenal.
As players progress within the game, they will be needed to upgrade their weapons so as to counter larger infections. Unlockable arcade style cell stages, which fall under this title’s alternative Mission mode, will include against the clock challenges to destroy enemies. Furthermore, the Leaderboard and Hall of Fame modes will proffer gamers with options to post their level scores online. There’s even a Boss Rush mode for players to battle bosses back-to-back. Lastly, this title also holds in it, a detailed enemy Nanopedia which delivers vital information about each creature.
