Earlier this week we had divulged four DSiWare titles unleashed by Nintendo as part of the weekly downloads for the portable console. Among the array was an exciting puzzle platformer that was formerly known as Reflection. Konami now adds that title to the DSiWare array christened as Divergent Shift.
The new entrant into the DSiWare group merges 2D puzzle elements with challenging gameplay where players adorn the tile of Kirra who is a trailblazing thief. She is found traversing through an alternate world when a magical mirror has shattered. To save the universe, Kirra must find and piece together the broken parts.
Gamers are called upon to play as Kirra as well as her shadow by employing both Nintendo DSi screens at the same time. Both characters must be used in tandem for successfully solving puzzles and exploring various fantastic areas such as temples and forests. The company also embeds extra features like Time Attack Mode and Expert Levels in order to challenge players far beyond just the main quest and hence provide them with extensive replay value.
Divergent Shift can be picked up for 800 Nintendo DSi points on Nintendo DSiWare.
