As Super Mario Bros. accomplish their 25 year long run in the gaming terrain, Nintendo seems to be pepped up about the upcoming celebrations. The gaming giant has unleashed three new titles for the DSiWare including Gene Labs, Paul’s Shooting Adventure and Peg Solitaire. The Wii version of Gene Labs has been included into this week’s WiiWare downloads as well.

Get ready to fight the onslaught of a deadly virus in Gene Labs. Players will have to inject the anti-virus solution into infected cells as they appear under the microscope. The game requires them to disinfect visible cells before the fatal virus takes control and lead towards destruction. In addition, gamers will also need to prevent contamination of healthy cells while curing the infected ones.
Gamers can save the world from not only this deadly virus but also other villains. Paul’s Shooting Adventure is set to turn them into the son of a super hero family, empowered with the ability to fly and launch dynamic projectile energy assaults. Stepping into Paul’s boots, players can also transform and harness arms from defeated rivals. In the game, Paul has been assigned to save the planet from an alien invasion with his super hero powers. This classic side-scrolling shooter has been published by Agetec.
Reviving the good old board games, Peg Solitaire has been crafted for extending exciting solo gameplay. In this title, players will need to move pegs on a cross-shaped board which is outfitted with 33 holes. Sculpted with over 41 stages, the title showcases five levels for offering refined experience.
DSi owners can download Gene Labs and Paul’s Shooting Adventure for 200 Nintendo DSi Points each. Whereas Peg Solitaire is up for grabs on the DSiWare with a price tag of 500. Those who wish to increase their points can purchase them from the Nintendo DSi Shop or redeem their Nintendo Points Card.
