Atari’s Haunted House Offered on XBLA

Atari released a revised retro game for PC last month that opened the doors to a creepy ghost mansion for the fans of this famous classic. Developed by ImaginEngine and published by Atari, Haunted House now finally makes its advent via XBLA for Xbox 360 console owners.

Iterating its way almost thirty years after the game’s original character Samuel Silversping disappeared, players will untangle mysteries that spook around in Graves Mansion as his offsprings. Bone-chilling adventure trailed by ravenous rats, scary skeletons and pesky poltergeists will be experienced by gamers while investigating the sinister depths of Graves Mansion to unearth four lost pieces of a magical urn.

Players’ objective is to mend the urn and protect their family’s legacy with help of numinous tomes, mystifying artifacts and bright light sources. After sixteen levels of eerie environments, searching for hidden treasures, manipulating the surroundings, confronting new bosses and cracking puzzles, gamers will eventually face Zachary Graves. Porting several revamped features with interactive objects, new characters, and dynamic storyline as well as enriched 3D environments, Haunted House has been given a completely revised outlook.

Haunted House can now be availed for Xbox 360 from XBLA. Pricing details have not been disclosed as of now.
