Finally the shipping date of the highly anticipated WireWay has been revealed by Konami. Back in April the company announced the introduction of an original IP called WireWay and stated that it would release by autumn. The action puzzle game is now all set to hit the Nintendo DS console next month.

WireWay sees the introduction of a mischievous little alien who journeys across the planet after he strays away from his spaceship. He manages to get himself into a lot of misadventures and notorious situations as he jumps from once area to another.
Fashioned specially for the Nintendo DS, players can fling the little imp through more than 40 levels with the help of the stylus. They would have to do so by avoiding projectiles like spikes and rocks while gathering power-ups and knocking out walls. The path is also alight with some very interesting characters. All this must be done in order to get Wiley back home safe and sound.
WireWay exploits the special features of the portable console like split screens and stylus integration. Gamers can also connect with more competitive players through the Nintendo DS ADHOC online multiplayer feature. Via this attribute, players can indulge in a competitive multiplayer race mode. The puzzle title also includes a strategy mode in which gamers can add bumpers and draw wires in order to safely aid Wiley get through the levels.
Rated E, WireWay is set to hit shelves on November 3, 2009 for a price of 29.99 USD (appeox. Rs. 1,395).
