Dragon Age: Origins Goes Gold for All Platforms in North America

Dragon Age: Origins is the highly anticipated action role playing game from EA and recently a free online browser-based title called Dragon Age Journeys was released. Now BioWare, an Electronic Arts studio has announced that Dragon Age: Origins has gone gold for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America. At launch, the game on the three platforms will be available with DLC packs including ‘The Stone Prisoner’, ‘The Blood Dragon Armor’, and ‘ Warden’s Keep’.

“We’re excited to confirm that all three versions of Dragon Age: Origins will be available to fans on November 3 in North America,” Ray Muzyka, Group General Manager, RPG/MMO Group of EA, and Co-Founder, BioWare, remarked. “The Dragon Age: Origins development team was able to polish the PlayStation 3 version to our high standard of quality and we are ready to deliver the richest and deepest role-playing fantasy experience across all three platforms.”

Dragon Age: Origins follows a Grey Warden, one of the oldest and most ancient orders of guardians. A rising evil now threatens to destroy all life and players must unite the shattered lands and eliminate the dragon Archdemon. Players will have to take decisions of questionable nature, such as sacrificing friends for the greater good of mankind.

Dragon Age: Origins is scheduled to be released in North America on November 3, 2009 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, while the game is expected to be released across Europe on November 6, 2009 for the Xbox 360 and PC, with a PS3 version following later in the month.
