Konami Digital Entertainment has announced WireWay, which is an all new original IP for the Nintendo DS handheld console. The interactive action puzzle game features a lovable but troublesome alien and his crazy adventures.
In the game, players control the alien dropped off by his ship. They must avoid the obstacles and overcome enemies along the way. Players have to make use of the touch screen and swing him with the wire using the stylus, draw wires to help him and rub the screen in order to produce wind.
WireWay features 60 interactive levels, the ability to create stages and wireless gameplay. Players can break down walls, create new paths and gather stars to be used as power ups as they help the alien find his way home. Up to four players can be challenged to play wirelessly in a multiplayer race using the ad-hoc feature.
WireWay is published by Konami and is set to be released in the fall of 2009.
