Art Style: Base 10 and Asphalt 4: Elite Racing for DSiWare This Week

Ever since Nintendo launched the Nintendo DSi in North America, the company has been steadily releasing games and applications every week as part of its DSiWare service to customers. This week Nintendo announces two DSiWare titles; a new title in the Art Style series, Art Style: Base 10 and Asphalt 4: Elite Racing, a rather unique racing game for the DSi.

Asphalt 4 Elite Racing

In Art Style: Base 10, players have to slide numbers around, horizontally or vertically, to make combinations which add up to 10. There are three game modes available including Vs Mode, which allows two players to battle it out in a wireless contest. In the ZeroSum Mode, players will have to get rid of a pre-set amount of numbers in the shortest possible time, while in Puzzle Mode, they must eliminate a group of numbers in the fewest possible moves. Art Style: Base 10 from Nintendo is for up to two players, and can be purchased by redeeming 500 Nintendo DSi Points.

Asphalt 4: Elite Racing from Gameloft lets players choose from 28 dream cars and bikes, and race in eight of the most famous cities, in full 3D. The vehicles can be raced using standard controls or the touch screen, and players can use any photo clicked with the DSi’s camera as their icon. The game features New York, Paris, Dubai, Shanghai and more cities, and even has a garage where players can spend hours fine tuning their vehicles. Asphalt 4: Elite Racing is for one to four players and is available for 800 Nintendo DSi Points.

New titles are added every Monday 9 am to the Wii Shop Channel and the Nintendo DSi Shop. DSi and Wii owners with internet access can download games in exchange for their Nintendo DSi and Wii Points.
