A few years ago, a tactical role-playing game known as Disgaea: Hour of Darkness was released on the PS2. Soon a Disgaea game also emerged on the PlayStation Portable and then it was announced for the Nintendo DS. Now Square Enix has sent word that Disgaea DS will be released in the European and other PAL territories.
John Yamamoto is the President and CEO of Square Enix. He says, “I am pleased that we are able to bring Disgaea DS to players in Europe and PAL territories. Nippon Ichi has created a game perfectly suited for portable play that will entertain and challenge in equal measure.”
Disgaea DS is basically an updated portable version of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Gamers can expect the all-new duel system for multiplayer battles. It also features multi-customization as gamers will be able to customize the multiplayer mode. The tactical role-playing game has Geo Cubes, which feature very special effects. Disgaea DS also has an exclusive new story and guest appearances.
Disgaea DS has been developed by Nippon Ichi Software. The game will be released for the Nintendo DS in the European and the other PAL regions in spring next year. The tactical RPG was launched in Japan in early 2008 while the North American gamers got it this month.
