Yet another Angry Birds game unveiled, bird-flinging goes medieval this time

Angry Birds installments are cropping up again and again, with fresh themes and the same bird-flinging gameplay which the series is known for, and we now have one more such title to look forward to. Even before the just-announced Stella game could be revealed in its entirety, another offering focused on a medieval setting has been teased by its developer, Rovio.

Medieval Angry Birds Game

Not much is known about this game however, but a video establishing its premise has indeed been released by its maker. Embedded in the space below, this clip showcases a medieval suit of armor from all sides, before its helmet opens up to reveal the red bird encased in it. This video is also accompanied by the statement, ‘The most Epic soft launch ever.’ The game will apparently land in Australia, Canada and New Zealand first, before making its way into other nations.

It is certain to be a mobile-focused title, and judging by past games from Rovio, releases for Android and iOS will be imminent at debut. Another big title from the series that’s slated to be launched this year is Angry Birds Stella, a game that will focus on the pink female bird featured in various other entries to the series. The last big Angry Birds release had come in the form of Angry Birds Go! which came out in December last year. This title took a departure from the series’ familiar gameplay setting, and introduced kart-racing to the mix.

We’ll have more on the medieval Angry Birds game once fresh details about it are out.
