Tera Gets European Release Date

The much awaited action-MMO Tera, developed by Bluehole Studio is all geared up to arrive in Europe for PC on May 3, 2012. It will be made available for purchase in the form of retail copies as well as digital downloads, revealed its European publisher Frogster.

This game has been developed using the Unreal Engine 3 and a free targeting combat system. Its ‘True Action Combat,’ a political system and many other features supposedly look to present gamers with a new type of MMO experience. The story of this title, involves players joining an alliance of races in order to defend their world and their gods from being removed by a dreadful force.

COO of Frogster, Seth Iorio, touted, “We’re truly excited to announce this release date, and the extra time that has been taken to tweak the game for the European market has truly paid off. Followers of the game and newcomers alike will have an incredibly rich, exciting and polished gameplay experience available to them on May 3.”

The closed beta of this title is all set to go on the floors in the upcoming weeks. Gamers interested in jumping into this beta can sign themselves up on the game’s European website. Traditional MMORPG elements like quests, crafting and player versus player action will be seen making their way into this game along with a real-time battle system that integrates a third person camera view. The payment system for this title will be a conventional one, with monthly subscriptions charges.

Tera will be released all over Europe on May 3, 2012 for the PC. The pricing information of this game is yet to be disclosed by its publisher.
