Gamers can now sign up for a closed beta of the recently announced Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances, which is a free-to-play MMO strategy title developed by EA’s Phenomic hand. Touted by its maker to be the first truly portable MMO offering, this game allows cross-platform play on web browsers as well as mobile devices.
Tiberium Alliances is set in the Command & Conquer Tiberium universe and requires players to face off against large groups of mutant enemies. In order to achieve the objective of world domination, they would be needed to choose their friends sensibly while cultivating strategic alliances. Furthermore, in-game social and news update feeds are also set to form a part of this new title. These feeds will be updated in real-time, thus allowing players to maneuver their plans quickly.

It was only a few days back that EA had announced another C&C title named Command & Conquer Generals 2 for PC. Planned for a 2013 release, this game will run on the Frostbite 2 engine and would involve the world’s military superpowers assuming control of global warfare with an aim to eliminate terrorist threats.
