Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning abbreviated as WAR has gone online and is now playable. The choice is between two very different but equally engaging creatures, the all-out battle-crazy Orc Choppas and the atonement-seeking but just as driven Dwarf Slayers. We had reported on both the Call to Arms live expansion and the ten day free trial of WAR.
The Dwarf Slayer is heavily tattooed, a testament to the creature’s fixation with a proud and honorable death in hand-to-hand combat. In WAR, the Dwarf Slayer is a scary creature to be up against, throwing itself into the mix with sheer disregard for its own well-being. The Dwarf Slayer carries a humongous axe in each of his hands.
The Orc Choppa is a beast driven by just pure savage instinct. Like the huge, shirtless, body-painted British football fan with a beer in one hand and his team’s crest in the other, Orc Choppas love the thrill of a good, hardy brawl. Orc Choppas are drawn to a good fight like a shark to a bleeding baby seal. Driven by blinding bloodlust, these creatures thrust themselves into battle just for the heck of it.
These two new careers are added to Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning in the Call to Arms expansion and are the latest of the many changes and updates made to the game. WAR is based on a tabletop war game from Games Workshop and features the Realm vs. Realm combat mode providing a very enthralling battleground for players.
