Xbox One’s upcoming November system update is focused on personalization

The November update for the Xbox One is all set to provide you with a number of customization tools for your interface as well as your profile, apart from various other useful features. Microsoft has revealed that this firmware release will finally help you personalize your console’s desktop background, while it will also come with Twitter integration. There’s no particular release date for when we can expect this update to go live, but it can already be downloaded by all those who’ve signed the console’s beta program agreement.

Images from any Achievement you’ve unlocked can be picked by you to be your desktop background. Moreover, through another update, Microsoft will also be adding the ability to use custom images in the media player app for this purpose. Your gamer profile can now be a lively one, thanks to the option of adding your location as well as bio through it. Microsoft has also revealed that following the November update, you’ll be able to select a set of showcase items like Achievements and video clips that will be displayed when someone is checking out your profile.

The new Twitter integration means, you can voluntarily share your Xbox One game clips to your followers. And then there are a few other interesting features that form part of the November update as well. These include ability of the Internet Explorer app to snap as well as a fresh Games with Gold section on SmartGlass that’ll help subscribers of the program to easily download their free games.

Like we said, Microsoft hasn’t provided a firm release date for this Xbox One November update, but you can expect it to arrive early next month.
