Xbox 360 Limited Edition Halo: Reach Bundle and Accessories Revealed

Halo: Reach is certainly among one of the most anticipated games of the year. Earlier we had reported about the multiplayer beta and the much-awaited release date of the title. Microsoft along with Bungie are set to make the launch of the game a memorable one by unveiling Xbox 360 Limited Edition “Halo: Reach” Bundle and Accessories.

The feature-packed bundle is adorned with an exclusive silver design that matches the feel and look of the Halo universe. Players will also receive a Standard Edition copy of “Halo: Reach,” as well as an episode of “Halo Legends”, a “Halo: Reach”-themed Xbox 360 wired headset and a token for the Limited Edition Elite armor set. Besides sporting the look of the upcoming game, the special console also boasts of custom sound effects from the Halo universe.

The specially designed Xbox 360 gaming found in the exclusive bundle includes an integrated Wi-Fi for connecting to Xbox Live as well as a 250GB hard drive. Microsoft and Bungie further entice fans with “Halo: Reach” Limited Edition Wireless Controller and the “Halo: Reach” Limited Edition Wireless Headset. The “Halo: Reach” Limited Edition Wireless Controller is set to come with an Xbox Live token for an animated Covenant Banshee Avatar item and is priced at 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,826). The “Halo: Reach” Limited Edition Wireless Headset is priced at 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,355). The company is expected to unleash these products by late August while pre-orders are already underway.

Microsoft and Bungie also offer Forge 2.0 which is noted to be a set of new editing tools that can be found embedded into Halo: Reach. Through these inclusions, gamers can fashion and share their own Halo: Reach multiplayer maps. The beautiful Forge World enables even up to seven friends on Xbox Live or system link to cooperatively create maps. This can even be done with three friends through split-screen.

Attendees at Comic-Con International this week will get to experience the first public Firefight multiplayer mode which includes Versus Firefight mode that takes place between a team of player-controlled Elites with Covenant AI support against player-controlled Spartans. These gamers will get a free token which can be used to unlock an exclusive Noble 6 helmet for their Avatars. The Comic-Con event will also bear loads of other Halo goodies and surprises.
