Gears of War 3 is noted to be a third-person shooter fashioned by Epic Games. The company has now joined forces with Microsoft to reveal that rap artist Ice-T will lend his voice to a brand new character called Griffin in the upcoming Gears of War 3.
Ice-T is not only a renowned rap artist but also an actor and video game enthusiast. He will join the likes of fellow hip-hop sensation Drake as they endow Gears of War 3 with their own personality and voice, breathing life into the newly introduced characters. The two inclusions will unite along with other cast members of the acclaimed title to bring forth a complete and engaging game.
Epic Games Design Director, Cliff Bleszinski commented, “I’ve been a huge fan of Ice my whole life, and it turns out he’s a big fan of Gears. His legendary tough-as-nails, street-smart persona fits perfectly with Griffin.”
Gears of War 3 is the third installment in the Gears of War series and final chapter in the captivating trilogy. The game sees Griffin, who is voiced by Ice-T, leading a pack of human survivors called Stranded. The group will come face-to-face with Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad as they indulge in battle with the deadly and infected Lambent.
