We’ve seen Microsoft announce its price cuts across the Xbox 360 models, and Microsoft’s Chris Lewis affirmed that the reduction in the price of the Xbox 360 was not, in any way, related to Sony’s recent PS3 price cuts. Now Engadget is reporting that Amazon Germany is offering a new Xbox 360 model with plenty of hard drive storage.
This new Xbox 360 model apparently has a 250 hard disc drive, more than double the hard drive space over the existing Xbox 360 console, and comes with two wireless controllers and a copy of Forza Motorsport 3. Now Forza Motorsport 3 isn’t out until October 23, 2009, so even if there’s an inkling of truth in this, don’t expect Microsoft to announce anything before that time.
Maybe Microsoft is upgrading the hard drive space for its ‘Project Natal’ and its technology. The price of the item is listed at 279 euros (approx. Rs. 19,340). All this is juts rumour and speculation at this point, and we’ll have to wait for at least a couple of months to find out for sure.
