Gamers who loved the earlier Tomb Raider adventures of Lara Croft can now get ready for some more action. Eidos Interactive announced yesterday that Tomb Raider: Underworld Beneath the Ashes will now be available as a downloadable content for the Xbox 360 starting February, 2009 onwards.
The title is among the first to be available in the two novel downloadable titles Tomb Raider adventures of Lara Croft series.
Both levels boast of new gameplay and content for Tomb Raider: Underworld. An exciting extension to the Tomb Raider: Underworld game, Tomb Raider: Underworld Beneath the Ashes will allow gamers to indulge in some exciting gameplay.
In the game, Lara will be sent back to the remains of Croft Manor. Once in the Manor, donning the mask of Lara, gamers need to unfurl a wide array of caverns and age old crypts.
Bundled with 6 new costumes, the one-of-a-kind findings in the game are actually used to protect and keep a deadly source of power in hiding. The game also holds 125 achievement points. The new adventure titles are additionally packed with many new functionalities and combat gear that should make the adventure really exciting.
Lara’s latest adventure introduces scores of new capabilities and advanced gear that will enable gamers to voyage through towards forgotten power. The gears comprise of an active sonar map, multi-purpose grapple and motorbike for all lands.
To get through, gamers need to master all the fresh moves included which are more intuitive and realistic this time around. Equipped with these moves and combat gear, gamers will maneuver through environments loaded with treachery to defeat a series of hostile enemies.
Tomb Raider: Underworld Beneath the Ashes is scheduled to be available February 10, 2009. As for the second level, Tomb Raider: Underworld Lara’s Shadow, the game should release around March 10, 2009. Both packs will be available as downloadable content exclusively for the Xbox 360.
