When video games console makers are working on a new system, they are not the only ones who would be excited about it. Even the game developers would be looking forward to it. As of now, the present generation of consoles, the Sony PS3, the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii have just got going.
So when will the next generation consoles come in? Video games publisher Ubisoft reckons that the new consoles could hit anytime in 2011 or 2012. Yves Guillemot is the chief executive officer of Ubisoft. Speaking with GamesIndustry.biz, he stated, “So we have now enough to help us to grow the company for not only next year but to get ready for the coming of the next generation consoles that are probably going to happen 2011, 2012.”
Guillemot pointed out that Ubisoft wants to take advantage of a company that possibly will get more technology to them or even brands that are new. The Ubisoft head said that they have to be ready for the new consoles and have already started taking on new people as well as have bought new technology.
